Since February 22, 2010, a federal law lets people who are allowed to have guns by federal, state, and local laws bring them into Channel Islands park. Before entering this park, it is the responsibility of visitors to know and follow all state, local, and federal gun laws. You must have a California CCW to do this.
If you do bring your firearm into the park, know it is against the law to fire a gun or other weapons in the park.

The Channel Islands National Park, which is off the coast of Southern California, is made up of five islands that have a lot of wildlife. On Anacapa Island, you can walk to Inspiration Point, which is on top of a cliff, and a lighthouse from 1932.
The huge Painted Cave is one of the many sea caves on Santa Cruz Island. On Santa Rosa Island, you can find only a few Torrey pines. A lot of seals live at Point Bennett on San Miguel Island. Seabirds nest on the part of Santa Barbara Island that is the farthest south.
