Buyer's Guide: Meopta Scopes

How To Find The Best Scopes For Your Hunting Needs

The Meopta Scopes Company in Germany has been around since 1872. Meopta originally made a type of binoculars that would be used by the Royal Air Force as a means of communication during World War 1. They soon decided to branch out into other products and eventually developed the first ever fully functioning telescopic lenses.

One of the best characteristics of these binoculars is the Meopta Scopes' unique "ring lens" construction. This design makes use of numerous prisms and lenses that will focus the light coming through the eyepieces to the intended focus. This is an excellent benefit over many other brands that have larger lens assemblies with one focus located on each. As a result, you can get Meopta scopes with a variety of focal lengths available in many different configurations. There are also many different styles that are available from Meopta Scopes.

In addition to Meopta Scopes having their ring lens construction, they also make use of other optical design features. Some of these include the use of parallax, which is an edge-of-the-shade feature that balances objects so that their horizontal angle with each other is exactly the same. The parallax effect was first patented by Aim Acuview in the year 1983. Other optical features include baffle-free focusing, high magnification, and extremely high exit pupil sizes. All of these features are complimented by the company's durable and lightweight Leupold scopes.

When it comes to reviewing the various Meopta Scopes product offerings, I have found that most users send private messages on the Meopta Facebook page. On the Meopta Scopes Facebook page, Meopta users are able to leave comments, add friends, and create a personal profile. One feature that was really appreciated by several of my Facebook friends was the ability to send private messages to other members, thanks (or sorry) for some of the critiquing I have done of Meopta Scopes products in the past! So, if you would like to receive a private message from Meopta about their products, you may do so via the Meopta Scopes Facebook page.

Meopta Scopes currently offer two reticles; a blade style and a tri-fold. The blade style Meopta scope offers Meopta Scopes users the opportunity to select their reticle shape and then build-up their hunting experience around it. This is certainly an excellent option for someone just learning about scopes, or someone who is interested in using more than one reticle but does not necessarily need to use a lot of magnification. The tri-fold allows Meopta Scopes users to take out the needed amount of magnification on the fly. If a hunter needs to use more than one magnification, this is definitely a great way to do so without taking out the Meopta blade and losing your light quality and seeing.

Both the blade style and the tri-fold Meopta Scopes come with Meopta's newest technology, the VX-III Plus technology. This technology provides high optical clarity at an extremely high magnification level. In other words, if you are looking to use Meopta Scopes and want the maximum visual clarity possible, you'll definitely appreciate the high optical clarity offered by the optika 6 series. Some Meopta Scopes also come with an optika6-series lens hood.

One of the most popular features on many Meopta scopes is the mephedrone milky ed glass reticle. The milky ed glass, which is Meopta's highest optical quality, is used on all of their scopes except the Mephisto line. The reason for this is because the milky ed glass reticle tends to be more difficult to manufacture than other designs. As a result, Meopta has designed their scopes to make the most of the milky ed glass reticle in order to ensure the clearest images possible. The Meopta scopes also have a nice carrying case and are priced competitively, which makes them a great choice for every hunting enthusiast.

Meopta Scopes also offer a lifetime warranty. This warranty offers top of the line reliability, durability, and comfort. Unlike many other manufacturers, Meopta offers a lifetime warranty with all of their scopes, as long as you own the rifle. This warranty is not exclusive to only their rifle scopes, but is used with all of their glass brand products. No matter what type of rifle you have or what model of scopes you may be looking for, you will not be disappointed with the overall performance, durability, and warranties offered by Meopta.
