Buyer's Guide: Nikon Ar15 Scopes

Improved Target Viewing With Nikon Ar15 Scopes

Nikon Arment has been making high quality rifle scopes for many years. Their technology is top notch and the results are unmatched. Every scope model they make is engineered to perfection. The durability, accuracy and functionality of each scope model is unmatched in the industry today. This is why so many hunters rely so much on the brand when they need to add a new scope to their collection. Here we will take a look at some of the scope models that they offer and why you should use them.

This is probably the most popular rifle scope in the Nikon rifle scope market. This scope is a staple in the hunting arsenal of just about every bow hunter and is a favorite among other rifle scope consumers. This scope comes in a couple different models including the deluxe and the premium. Each model offers a unique function, but both work great together.

The Flip Up Arm Minizer is one of the more compact models in the Nikon ar15 scopes range. This model features a polycarbonate lens and includes a dial and a flip-up, removable ribbed cap. This model is perfect for those hunters who prefer hand-free applications because it eliminates all of the needed gun cleaning hassle. Ranging between ten and fifteen feet long, the Flip Up Minizer is a good choice if you prefer semi-automatic long-range scopes.

The black fx1000 scopes manufactured by Nikon are definitely some of the best scope models in the rifle scope line. These scopes feature a patented engineering design which allows for quiet operation with an effective distance. One of the advantages of these black fx1000 scope models is that they work extremely well at longer ranges. They also have the added benefit of having a fast response time and superb imaging. If you are an avid bow hunter, these scopes are an absolute must-have.

Another popular rifle scope is the red dot reticle. The red dot is designed to work well with red-hued prey animals. Unlike the green target line found on green colored scopes, the red dot can be seen through a variety of environments including night vision and low-light conditions. Because of its effectiveness, the red dot has become one of the most popular scope models. The focal plane of most red dot rifles is made out of fiberglass. It offers exceptionally high imaging and offers the user versatility as it can be adjusted to face virtually any direction.

The final two scope lines featured on the Nikon ar15 rifle scope lines are the P Tac Gear and the ProTec. The P tac Gear is basically an evolution of the basic Aimpoint design. It features an easy adjustment system for windage and an enlarged target reticle for larger targets. This model has a cross hair reticle instead of a cross sphere that some users prefer for more precise aiming. Although the Protec may not have the larger target zone of the Aimpoint ProViz, it does offer a stable ground correction and a higher degree of adjustability over its sibling.

In addition to the two previously mentioned models, several other rifle scope manufacturers have produced an Aimpoint compatible product. These include Smith & Wesson and Gemtech. Smith & Wesson produces the standard M&P 15th Anniversary commemorative scope series. The company also produces the pistol model that was used by movie actor Andy Firefly in the TV series " Firefly". Other companies like Gemtech and NIKON have also designed and produced rifle scope products based on the Aimpoint design.

For the most part, all the models of Aimpoint AR 15 scopes produce high-quality performance at a very affordable price. Their rangefinder reticle is easy to use and accurate, allowing for a great degree of range estimation. The cross hair reticle is great for estimating distance in short bursts or even in steady hands. The knurled ring system for adjusting brightness makes this scope series extremely user friendly. Even the accessory rings are well worth the investment, as they allow for a greater degree of customization and greatly increase scope durability and life.
